Welcome to The Sound of Opera
The Sound of Opera is a collection of orchestral opera backing tracks created for singers, students, teachers, performers, and opera lovers. The recordings are presented as karaoke-style videos with full orchestral accompaniment and include complete productions of Carmen and La Traviata, as well as selected highlights from other operas.
The tracks may be used for private enjoyment, rehearsals, and public performances under a simple licensing system designed to keep the recordings accessible while ensuring fair use. Annual performance licenses start from €6, and educational use may qualify for waived fees. Other licensing options, including vocal covers and film or television productions, are available as well.
